Mytanfeet customer service
The Mytanfeet Customer Service team processes and supports MarSea Tours reservation requests. Emails from Mytanfeet Customer Service about your MarSea tour are part of this service. Authorized team members use the information needed to review your request, arrange your tour and provide care before, during and after your visit. Information we collect
When you complete a reservation or contact form, we may collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, selected tour, preferred date and time, number of participants, children’s ages when relevant, pickup location, optional extras, and any special requests, questions or comments you choose to provide.
We may also collect basic technical information generated when you use our website, such as your IP address, browser information, device information and website activity through cookies or similar technologies used for security, website functionality and analytics.
How we use your information
We use your information to review and manage your reservation request, confirm availability, communicate booking details, organize pickup and tour logistics, answer questions, provide customer service, maintain reservation records, prevent fraud or misuse, and comply with applicable legal, tax and accounting requirements.
We do not use information submitted through the reservation form for unrelated marketing unless you have separately agreed to receive marketing communications from us.
Sharing information for your tour
We may share only the information reasonably necessary to operate your booking with the captain, boat operator, crew, transportation provider or other service provider involved in your reservation. For example, the captain may need your group size, pickup location, tour date and special requests in order to provide the service correctly.
We may also use trusted companies that provide services such as website hosting, reservation technology, email, analytics, security or payment processing. These providers may process information on our behalf only as necessary to provide their services.
Payments
The reservation form does not ask you to enter a full credit or debit card number. If payment is required to confirm a reservation, payment information may be collected separately through a third-party payment provider. That provider’s own privacy and security practices will apply to the payment information it processes.
International processing
Some technology providers we use may store or process information outside Costa Rica. When this occurs, we use the information only for the purposes described in this statement and take reasonable steps to work with reputable service providers that protect personal information.
How long we keep information
We keep reservation and customer information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain business and accounting records, resolve questions or disputes, prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations. When information is no longer needed, it may be deleted, anonymized or securely archived as appropriate.
Your privacy rights
MarSea Tours operates in Costa Rica and handles personal information in accordance with applicable Costa Rican data protection rules, including Law No. 8968, Protection of the Person in the Processing of Personal Data. Subject to applicable law, you may request access to personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct, update or delete information that is inaccurate, unnecessary or being used improperly.
You may also contact us if you have a question about how your personal information is being used or if you want to withdraw a consent that you previously provided where the law allows it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse or disclosure. No website or electronic system can guarantee absolute security, but we limit access to reservation information to the people and service providers who need it for legitimate business purposes.
Children’s information
Our reservation form may ask for the ages of children traveling in the group so we can organize the booking and tour safely. This information should be provided by a parent, legal guardian or responsible adult making the reservation, and we use it only for purposes related to the tour and reservation.
Contact us
If you have questions about this Privacy Statement or want to make a request regarding your personal information, please contact the MarSea Tours team at web@mytanfeet.com.
By submitting the MarSea Tours reservation form, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Statement and consent to the collection and use of your information as described above for purposes related to your inquiry or reservation.
Partner Program information
Partner applications contain your name, phone number, account and payment email, business information and promotion details. We use these to review applications, provide account access and promotional materials, attribute eligible referrals, communicate booking status and administer commissions and payouts. Partners see their own referral and commission records; the custom Partner Dashboard does not show guests’ contact details. Authorized staff access the records needed for program administration and customer service.
Account, application and booking-status emails are operational messages. They are separate from unrelated promotional subscriptions. The custom Partner Program email log is routinely cleared after 90 days. Reservation, commission and accounting records and messages in business inboxes have separate retention needs described above.
Cookies and your choices
Essential cookies support security, sign-in, requested booking features and your privacy preferences. Optional analytics cookies measure website use. Optional marketing cookies attribute bookings to the partner whose personal link or QR code you used. The Marketing category includes partner referral cookies, which last 15 days. Optional analytics and partner tracking are blocked until you accept the relevant category.
You can reject optional cookies and still request a tour. If partner tracking is declined, blocked or deleted, we may not be able to attribute a referral automatically. Use the Cookie settings link in the footer to review or withdraw your choice at any time. Withdrawal stops future optional tracking and does not undo processing already completed. See our Cookie Policy for details and the preference controls.
Additional rights and contact
Where the applicable law provides them, you may also request restriction of processing, object to certain uses or request a portable copy of your data. We may need to verify your identity and retain information necessary for legal obligations or ongoing transactions. You may complain to the relevant data-protection authority, including PRODHAB in Costa Rica. Contact web@mytanfeet.com with a privacy request or question.
